Information about the phone 060

The telephone 060 is an information service that the General Administration of the State puts at your disposal. It offers you general administrative information about public services and procedures of the General Administration of the State.

By calling 060 you can find out about public employment, grants, grants and scholarships, the location of public administration bodies, technical assistance on electronic services of the General State Administration and information of ministries and integrated agencies (foreigners, General Directorate of Traffic, State Public Employment Service, etc. ).

The telephone 060 informs through automated voiceovers and, depending on the subject and the schedule, also by general or specialized agents, as the case may be.

  • Auto attention:
    • Uninterrupted hours, 24 hours every day of the year.
  • Attention for a generalist agent:
    • From Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 19.00 hours uninterrupted, except holidays nacionales.Durante in the month of August, the hours are reduced: from 9.00 to 15.00 hours uninterrupted.
    • Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., except national holidays.
    • Special Christmas Time: Days 24 and 31 of December, from 9.00 to 14.00 hours.
  • Care by a specialized agent
    • Schedule dependent on each service.

The telephone 060 is a service with cost, as established in the Resolution of 30 November 2011the State Secretariat for Telecommunications and for the Information Society (BOE of 16/12/2011), as amended by the Resolution of 27 July 2023the State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure (BOE of 07/08/2023).

Since November 8, 2023, each call to the phone 060 has a cost fixed, of one 1-minute call, regardless of its duration:

  • from a phone fixed: the same cost as a national call.
  • from a phone mobile: that of a mobile call to a national fixed number.

Even if you have calls to national numbers included in your fixed or mobile phone plan, each call to 060 can have an additional cost, which will depend on your telephone operator, without ever exceeding the cost of a 1-minute call.
