Collaboration agreement: AEMET - Phone 060

Among the measures established by the Report of the Commission for the Reform of Public Administrations (CORA) is the extension of the 060 service of telephone attention to the citizen to all Public Administrations.

In this context, the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations and the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) signed on March 26, 2015 a collaboration agreement to serve citizens in the services of AEMET through the short telephone number 060.

In this way, by marking 060 the citizen can be attended to on:

• Information about the services that AEMET can provide and how to request them.
• Help with navigation through the website and electronic headquarters of AEMET.
• Advice to citizens on any consultation they make, including how to present their complaints and suggestions.
• Transfer of calls to the corresponding user care department when the complexity of the matter requires it.
• Switchboard service.

The service hours will be from 09 to 19 h (peninsular time) from Monday to Friday and from 09 to 14 h (peninsular time) on Saturdays. In August from 09 to 15 h from Monday to Friday and from 09 to 14 h on Saturdays.
