Stays of less than three months: mandatory documentation
For stays of less than three months, citizens of EU Member States or of other States parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, whatever the reasons for their stay, are required only to have their passport or other valid identity document under which they entered Spanish territory.
Reporting presence for short stays of less than three months
For stays of less than three months, EU citizens and their family members (third country nationals) are not required to report their presence or register with the authorities, whatever the reasons for their stay.
EU citizens must have their passport or other valid identity document.
Possession of a valid residence card of a family member of an EU citizen, issued by another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, exempts such family members from the entry visa requirement.
